Mattel expands its range with two new inclusive dolls
Barbie has added two new dolls to its inclusive Fashionistas line in 2024: a blind doll and the first black Barbie with Down syndrome.
Make way, pumpkin doughnuts. Krispy Kreme is introducing a new collection to celebrate Barbie’s 65th birthday.
Starting Tuesday, four brand-new doughnuts with “unique designs and amazing flavors inspired by Barbie” will be available for a limited time at participating stores.
What’s on the Krispy Kreme Barbie menu?
The collection, called Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection, comes in a limited edition box and contains:
- Barbie Pink Donut: An original glazed donut, covered in pink buttercream, sprinkled with glittery pink sugar and garnished with Barbie sunglasses.
- Malibu Dream Party Donut: An unglazed donut filled with Cake Batter Kreme, dipped in Malibu blue glaze and glittery graham sand, topped with a Barbie DreamHouse piece and decorated with a white cloud.
- Barbie Berry Cream Donut: An unglazed donut filled with strawberry cream, dipped in white glaze, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream and garnished with a Barbie heart.
- Sweet 65th Donut from Barbie: An original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze and garnished with Barbie Sweet 6th sprinkles.
Wear pink and get a free donut
All customers wearing pink who visit a participating Krispy Kreme store on Saturday, Sept. 7 can receive a free Original Glazed Doughnut, limited to one per customer in store and at the drive-thru, according to the doughnut chain.
