The fire brigade held its “Foazeigtreffen” in the apple orchard for the eighth time. The motorised beauties shine in the sun as usual.
DEUTSCH EHRENSDORF. Over 250 companions from the old days were present at the “Foazeig meeting” to marvel at the event organized by the fire department. The chrome gleamed, the engines chug along, and car enthusiasts from near and far came to talk shop and exchange experiences.
Eyes and chrome shine
Motor fans’ eyes lit up at all the Mustangs, Alfa Romeos and Harley Davidsons that were proudly presented by their owners. The many tractors from decades past that rattled around the grounds were also splendidly decorated. Vintage car clubs from the local area and further afield turned up in force. Some tractors even made the trip to Deutsch Ehrensdorf with crank drive.
Fire brigade as companion
The fire brigade under the command of Kurt Marakovits No expense was spared in catering for the hundreds of guests. Food, drink, ice cream and pastries were available in abundance. The apple trees in the apple orchard where the classic car meeting took place provided pleasant shade in the heat.
