If you’ve always wanted to live like a real Hollywood movie star – and have a lot of money – now is your chance.
A Beverly Hills home that was once home to the late legend Paul Newman and his 94-year-old Oscar-winning widow Joanne Woodward is now for sale for $45,000 a month in rent.
Together, they left a legacy that extends far beyond their time in that house. The couple raised more than $600 million to help children and underserved communities through their Newman’s Own brand. There’s even a 2022 documentary about their life together, “The Last Movie Stars,” and a book from the same year, “The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man: A Memoir.”
The Colonial-style residence at 9305 Hazen Drive is 4,276 square feet and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The charming gated building, which sits on a 1.2-acre lot, was built in 1937.
The exterior is wrapped in vines and the columns are elegantly designed, while the interiors feature numerous built-ins.
There is also an open plan kitchen with island/breakfast bar, walk-in pantry and wine storage, as well as a living room with black marble fireplace and a study with herringbone oak floors.
A staircase leads to a rooftop cabana with a gym and views of the pool and a nearby hiking trail.
Outside, the backyard is planted with lush plants and citrus trees. There is also a pool and a bocce ball court.
