This is the brand new Munich pop-up store for Oktoberfest fans

Munich – No cheap rubbish from the Far East: What has been available to buy since Sunday in the new “Oktoberfest” pop-up shop in the tourist information office at Marienplatz is, according to the city, made in Bavaria or Germany, partly handmade, of high quality, and: officially licensed with the Oktoberfest logo of the city of Munich.

Economic advisor and Wiesn boss Clemens Baumgärtner (CSU) will officially cut the black and yellow ribbon on Sunday to mark the opening of the new Oktoberfest pop-up shop at Marienplatz.

“Even if it got longer at the Oktoberfest”

“All high-quality items that you can bring as gifts to loved ones at home. Even if the Wiesn has been going on for a while,” jokes economic advisor Clemens Baumgärtner (CSU), who officially opens the shop as Wiesn manager three weeks before the start of the Oktoberfest (September 21 to October 6).

Pink Wiesnkrug and gin in the Maßkrug bottle

His two favorite products: the Oktoberfest hop gin from the Munich company Krugmeister in a beer mug bottle with a handle. And the pink Wiesn mug (0.5 liters) from Holla and Hui made of ceramic, designed by the Augsburg designer Katja Swozil-Seegatz.

For relaxation after the Oktoberfest: Small and large puzzles of all historical official Oktoberfest posters are also among the new licensed Oktoberfest souvenirs.

Puzzle for every official Oktoberfest poster

Also available: smart Wiesn caps made of leather and felt, suspenders, badges, jute bags with colorful Oktoberfest designs, beer-bottle-sized round and square coasters made of Solnhofen natural stone (which the founders initially knocked out of the stone by hand), high-quality Wiesn T-shirts and sweatshirts.

And small and large puzzles for all the official Oktoberfest posters that exist so far. The brand new Oktoberfest annual beer mug 2024 for 29.90 euros is of course also available in the pop-up shop, and anyone who is among the first 100 buyers will receive the previous year’s beer mug for free.
